Hurricane Coop Construction

I did take a look at the link you provide, thanks
I definitely need to do a some more research. The type of base natural base material of my yard is very sandy, not sure how that would relate to deep liter laying on top in the sense that there are no natural worms in there.

If you build it they will come....maybe.
Putting down good 'browns' and the 'green' poop will draw insect life to inhabit the litter.

Perhaps excavating down and filling it with some good top soil would help establish someplace for worms to survive?

Go with compost, not top soil.

PDF file is completely blank, dloaded has a 'label'?:

Thanks, I'll have to figure out how to make it so it works properly?
I guess...if you need a break from chicken coop research ;)

Being a 3d modeler, do you ever find yourself trying to rotate photographs :lau

Here is an additional picture with some overall dimensions of what I have planed.
It will be like a duplex with Dutch Doors on each side and some sort of divider inside that can be opened or closed if I want to keep two separate groups apart of opened to allow them full access to full coop? click on image to see full size picture.

Not quite sure what I'm looking at in the last model posted, what is that suspended between the doors?
The doors are actually at the far ends,
Those sure look like big double doors. I figured you'd put a wall there to separate the coop halves, having door access to both coops on both sides.

How about that!! :D

Not much to report in, and will have to remove them to put them in exactly where they will go but threw some of the 4x6 posts in the ground just to get a feel for the size and location.
