Good luck with the power, hope you get it sorted out soon! I hear there are a lot of people without water too, so I feel very lucky that we didn't have a problem with either.

Check on a boil order for water. Often these storms contaminate fresh water

Our power came on for a few seconds twice now, so they're working on it I hear more than 300,000 people had no power today. It's crazy.

Great news. How is everyone doing?

We are exhausted, but grateful for the returned power It was a long 24 hours waiting on that and wondering how long it's going to take! We went for lunch in a nearby town and spoke to a man there that told me they lost power at 10:00am yesterday already (we went off at 06:00pm), so I guess we were "lucky"

Hi @sumi
They are saying this storm 'Brian' is nothing comparable to hurricane Ophelia.
So I don't think there's anything to worry about !
