i have a rir hen who is limping no blood no bones poking out but foot clearly hurts she still eats and drinks fine

will she be ok and what can i do to help it heal faster

Separate her in a small area where she does not need to walk much for a few days. Preferably within sight and sound of the others. She should heal up ok.

ok she stays in the coop last few days i keep food and water in it for her she ate a half bowl of food so just making sure shes ok

How bad a limp is it and how long has she had it? Is she using her foot at all?

Any idea what happened? Could she have jumped off something high?

she can still walk on it but usally just sits down shes had it 3 or 4 days i think she jumped to a sleeping post and missed

My hen was bit by a coyote a week ago. I have her isolated she is eating drinking and pooping but will not put any weight on her leg. My question is how long do I nurse her and when do I put her down?
