    im apart of a local chicken group. i asked them if any body was selling a pair of a certain breed. a asked, bump it and asked again. nothing. which i know there selling them, but it made me feel unwelcome. and ive been with the for a few years now..... and i feel hurtand dont know what to do....

    Thats awful but I see this alot and its happened to me also. What breed exactly r u looking for and r u looking for birds or eggs? I may be able to help.

    Being shunned sucks, It may be an honest mistake, I would try again but maybe call or ask in person if they are what you really want.

    I have a breed that is a very hard breed to aquire quality stock and I have the philosophy that I am blessed with something great that it is my duty to share that blessing. Unfortunately not everyone feels that way.

    Thanks guys, I got a offer for a rooster of the pair, but no hen, Idk if I want to take the offer or not. But I found out theres a waiting list for a breeder for hatching eggs. Maybe hatching eggs would be good.

    The breed is Serama's. Im in Canada, and shipping over would be a pain . and yah :(

    My three breeds that I was thinking was Seramas, Golden Sebrights, or Hungarian Yellows. And yah :/ I could get a pair of sebrights for $40 from a friend up north, Hungarian Yellows, Id have to travel to another proveince, and yah. I guess My father decides what breed I should get into
