I am in a small town and doctors are limited but I will keep looking and trying and asking questions.

Which is better for my baby? (a) a Backpack carrier or and baby carrier? I understand this is probally a very stupid question!

I tried several carries with my 3 children. Backpack, once they grew into it, it was too heavy for me to use for extended trips like the zoo. The front carrier was good for infants, but not as they got bigger. With my third and final child, I had a sling. When she was an infant, I could carry her close to me, with or without any hands - and as the 3rd of 3, that was important. I could also nurse her descretely while she was in the sling with a little blanket draped just so. Then as she got older and even as a toddler, I could use it to support her while she sat up in it.

I would definitely suggest the sling. BTW, "she" will turn 15 in October - so if anyone has more up to date info LOL. !!!!

where did you get your sling? my mom carried me in a front backpack or stoller.

My sister just turned 16 in July
