I’m new to the duck scene. Need some advice please.

The vet said she may have ingested something, or have an infection that only birds get. I really wish there was an avian vet near me. This is really breaking my heart. She’s only a year old almost. I’m not ready to give up. I know she can pull through this.

Could worms do this to a duck's health? Would it hurt to worm her?

I am guessing that if worms were bad enough to make her this sick they would have been seeing worm segments in the poop by now..
I'm not sure I would give her wormer unless I had a fecal float done to confirm there were worms. It might take too much out of her?

I agree. I would not de-worm her unless I got the okay from the vet.
