(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Brand new! We got our first chicks three weeks ago.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Just the three. It’s all our city allows.
(3) What breeds do you have?
We have an Americana, Australorp, and Silver Laced Wyandotte.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
starchicky
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Looking to get back intro brewing and gardening.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I’m excited to introduce my daughter to keeping chickens. She already asks to see the “bok-bok” first thing every morning. I grew up on a farm (surprisingly chicken-less), but I have fond memories of it, so this is my compromise until we can buy a farm of our own! We’ll need the space too since it’s myself, my husband, my 14-month-old daughter, any future children we may have, a 123 lb boxer mix, 50 lb pit bull, a panther in a 10 Siamese kitty body, 3 adorable chickens, and a pea puffer. Yet somehow, I still want more.
