I’m pretty sure I have all hens, 2 are questionable.

I purchased 12 chicks this year from Rural King. I’m not sure how I lucked up like I did, but I’m pretty certain they are all hens. I’m iffy on two of them. What are your all’s thoughts. The picture of the 2 silver laces are the ones I think possibly could be roosters?

Do you know how old they are? More pics (neutral pose, from the side if possible) could help, but the SLs look like females to me.

They are 3-3.5 months old. Thai is probably the best pics I have of them. I felt pretty sure they were all hens.. what are the odds haha! I bought so many because I figured I wouldn’t get many hens.

All pullets! Their wattles and feathers would be different and probably looking like a cockerel without a doubt now. Also is that an egg?! (The last photo on the first post) do you have other chickens because it just caught me off guard because I thought that they might be POL chickens but that age makes more sense and I hope they lay eggs soon(ish). :)

Haha! Yes I have 3 adult silkies and my daughter had brought it over from our other coop!

I agree. They've gotta be female at this point. The rose comb (etc) ones can be hard to tell but at three months they'd be showing their pretty plumage & maybe crowing, too. I have a couple SLB Wyandottes. They're standoffish but good layers (for me at least) and so pretty. :love I really like them.
