I feel like I’ve had bad luck with sexed chicks this year unless I’m off base with this one. A five week old Easter egger with red coming in at the shoulder . Hope I’m wrong - thoughts?

This would make 4/10 chicks as unexpected roos.

Thank you - I was hoping I was acting crazy but apparently I was right! I’m disappointed to now have to find homes for four roosters and of course, they are all the favorite breeds we picked. Such is life! Maybe an excuse to get more chicks.

Sorry, have to agree - very masculine markings on that one. Red shoulder patches are a clear tell for cockerels. I wish you well rehoming!

Comb is also pronounced and reddish for a 5 wk old which is another indicator.
