➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I say that as long as the neighbors are okay with it and don't complain or even have their own roo then go for it. Lol or try a no crow collar but those can be cruel done wrong.

My neighbors are divided. I've got grouches on one side who haven't complained but may later, these are to the west of me. Then I've got the cool crew to the east of me who are like yeah more chickens! It's seriously a tough call and fight with myself daily about it. I think I know the right thing to do is pass on it. Just wanted other opinions on the matter.

Ah that's a tough one! Cause one complaint could cause you to have to get rid of him :(

I guess it depends how far away the neighbors are?

I say find some good dirt on them first then get the roo.
As I say, two can play at this game.

Why do you want a roo? Are you wanting to breed or do you just want to experience it?
A bad one is such a pain in the ass and can totally mess up flock harmony. If you’re happy with your hens, I don’t see why you’d fix what ain’t broke. :idunno
