I accidentally bought some eggs! Oops!!

I would have too. I love winter but I am happy Spring is coming. I'm ready to play outside with my chickens and plant my garden. But I cannot stand to be hot. If it gets much above 70* I get sick. I cannot handle heat well at all.

It went up to 60 here today. I am going to sink in the mud on my way to the coop

My ducks liked to visit with the wild turkeys last summer until the turkeys attacked them. My little bantam ameraucana roos didn't like that much and they attacked the turkeys and chased them off of the property, lol

1 more baby out. I'm still waiting on 1 more. It piped the wrong end so I don;t know if it is stuck of just not ready. I pulled off some of the shell to help it along and stuck it back in the bator.

I made it back! What a great car ride with the kids! They did great right up until we were leaving the ladies house. And then once back in the car were golden

I got all the pretty eggs... I'm SUPER excited!

I also got the guineas! Boy those suckers are tough and strong lol

Here are some pictures of the eggs i got and the guineas. Only thing that sucks is i was going to put the guineas in with my two extra Del roosters... that didn't go over so well! Seems my one Del rooster is a tough guy and bowed up on all of them and tried scrapping with them. So I put the roosters with my duckies. They are fine with the ducks but not with the guineas????? Need to hurry up and finish the second coop this weekend!
Guineas (suppose to be four females two males. they banded the males for me 3 females and one male for mother in law and pair for me)

And the eggs the best part! 18 Marans, 12 Welsummers, 5 crele and 7 golden phoenix. She was selling the eggs for what they went for on ebay and i didn't know they had gone up a bit but i'm totally happy with what i got! She had gorgeous birds. And she had this AMAZING blue copper maran rooster. Some maran eggs are dark and some are not as dark but she said some of her hens were older and had started to fade which i've heard is common. they are still a pretty shade to me!
