I am FINALLY back. I've been playing in Girl Scout cookies all evening. I have a troop and our cookies came in today so I've been steady running since 4pm.

Ady, I love the looks of your new ducks. They are very pretty.
JustMe, conrats on your new chicks.
Sheila, I had my bator back home and running by 9 am

. I got the temp and humidity stable. I received the eggs at 10am this morning and I just set them in the bator when I got back home. And I would like to say thank you for exposing my weaknesses by posting my thread

Ya'll will be able to make all manner of fun of me in a few days.
Found out my new incubator/hatcher will be delivered on an 18 wheeler and weighs about 200 pounds-can't wait to fill it.

The trip wasn't very long. Cackle Hatchery is less than 5 miles away from my house. I don't know how I keep from going bankrupt

OK, I have to say, despite the fact that you had to go get a new incubator to hold your impulse egg buys(

5 miles from the hatchery...man is my husband glad we don't live that close to Ideal.

Well I didn't tell DH I got a new bator. When he realized it I said "Well at least I didn't buy any chicks." He had nothing more to argue lol

Oh by the way i kinda need you to finish that second coop and maybe a new pen or two for the bantams... whenever you get to it honey i dont mind..." and i said this as he walked out the door for work and he just shook his head and laughed. oh dear lol Its still dark but i'm going to check on my babies!

I THINK this is the person Sonja won her auction from the other day and gryeyes got a second chance offer on them, as well.
