I'm sorry that you, too, had some accidental purchases! Oh well, we're going to have to incubate those poor little homeless eggs now. We have a responsibility to those eggs.

Nope!! I was resisting buyig eggs that need to be shipped since I've only done one hatch so far (my own eggs) and I had heard shipped ones were so iffy. But darn it if I didn't find an ad for some local eggs for just the breed I was wanting!! Those little eggs are coming my way soon.

I know what happened. It happened to me the other day. Here goes......It was aliens!!! That's right, ALIENS!!! Invasion of the body snatchers I tell ya! They come in when we least expect it and they do things that we would never do like buy eggs, order chicks, and even buy incubators. They enter our body and force us to do these bad things. I think they invade my kids all the time. That would explain why my poor innocent children misbehave sometimes

My Incubator has been empty since.............March Its been empty since march

So I went Saturday to a nearby breeder and bought eight little chickies from a breed I have wanted for well over a year.

AND YOU GUYS HAD TO REMIND ME OF THE EMPTY BATOR !

I am now accidentally looking at the egg auctions.... but its ok because Mum and Dad are the ones with the money and they are not addicted like I am

I was amazed how quickly I went from, wanting to hatch some eggs some day, to " Oh my God, I just ordered eggs, I need to build the incubator before they get here!".
