Sorry, I just posted those little cuties so you all know what you have to look forward to in a few weeks and realize all the worrying, pacing, face planting on the glass on the incubator, etc. will be worth it.

Yeah, I keep accidently buying eggs on BYC and one batch was accidently purchased on ebay. I told myself it was to cold to ship eggs until March. Oh well, I guess the other 25 chicks were lonely! Yep, that is what happened, that is why I ended up with 12 more eggs to go into the incubator that has been running nonstop since November. I am gonna have to keep my eye on those chicks in the brooder or they are going to break me this winter! I told them they have to leave me enough cash for the electric bill or they are going to have to huddle together for warmth and I am gonna have to join them!

I told my husband that having chickens helps me not want to get pregnant as often. as I have horrible pregnancies he is SO supportive of the chicken habit right now! (though we'll be trying for #4 come summer LOL!)

ducklover1-Here is the way my Call eggs came packaged. There was a layer of balled up newspaper on top.
I'm not sure about this, guess we'll see when I take a look at the air cells...
