sonjab314, we must have been separated at birth. Today, I, too was staring at the brown "cage free" eggs at the grocery store . . .
I didn't get the eggs, though, since my bator is almost full. I also had a "cool my jets" moment when I was cleaning my chicken room in my house (it's an unfinished room that I use as my "too big for the brooder, not big enough to go out" place for chicks) . . . anyway, I was almost overcome by the feather dust in there. I am SOO looking forward to weather warm enough that I don't have to brood chicks inside for so long.
Looking forward to hear about the fertility of your grocery store eggs!
