See, silkie chickens, silkie ducks. just looking at your signature lines alone ya'll cause the twitching to begin. I have 11 Americanas 24 RIR's due to hatch in the next week and we just started 18 barred rocks yesterday. I just hope I'm able to hold out until Friday to get more eggs at the auction. I have room for eight more dozen in my bators unless I make the two new coolers into more bators. The girls are going good so hopefully we'll fill them up.

I've been working on helping Calls hatch all day. My first time to see what lazy hatchers these guys are...VERY tedious.
I see bills and eyes, though.

Only 3(thank Heavens). These are a whole other ball game compared to baby chicks. Call ducklings are LAZY little things(of course, they make up for it by being so cute).

So haven't been on all week due to family visits and I had a little incubator project. Turned a wine cooler into a incubator! Its nice just working the temp and humidity out.... I'm itching for eggs since I was going to get a dozen bcm but wasn't able too.... Now I have two huge empty bators and get paid on Friday... Lord help me! Lol

Lol I'd love some assistance! I really want some bcm... But I'd take some more del egg, pekin eggs, I wanna buy some quail eggs but my birds should be laying anytime time they are 9 wks old
