Is it for your Sussex? :O

Perhaps something that is less about the north and more about the actual breed? Snowflake Sussex, Snowdriven Sussex, Northern Light Sussex (play on northern lights and also includes light sussex)

Something that will make your progeny stand out. There's a big marketing difference between something that came from "a farm called ____" and something like "oh this is a Snowflake Sussex"

Just food for thought !
Good idea...though I also have Partridge rocks, Blue Andslusian, and 27 others...but my Sussex are my featured birds Lol

We just have a woodstove (and a normal heater) that we use. Down here, spring and winter last about 3 months combined!
Wow. Lucky you! Our winter goes from September to late May. We don't have a spring. Summer is from June to September. :lau

I'm not jealous of you :p Just come down here in July, and you will be wishing for the Frozen North again

It gets up to 100 degrees with very high humidity! ...and I run. Not fun some days
