I am chicken (excuse the pun).....

I have emailed them and requested the ingredients and told them I wasn't trying to steal any trade secrets but they still won't respond. Crazy thing is I have never been allergic to anything, then when i was 23 I started this being allergic to bread stuff.

Thanks for the info you posted. I'm just glad my 3 year old doesn't have any allergies. I'm going to get me some wheat flour and try to make bread tomorrow.

I suggest you just cheat.

OK, I had a BUNCH or errands to run so all I've gotten done today is bought my ingredients. I got whole wheat flour, rapid rise yeast, and some yeast that is made JUST for whole grain breads, and some vital gluten stuff. I remember somebody on here say something about the gluten so I just got it too. So my plan is to TRY to bake some bread tomorrow. Either way somebody will have fresh bread, either us or the birds!

the gluten is a good idea with wheat breads. helps stabilize stuff, if that is the right term.

can't wait to hear how it turns out. and don't be worried if the first few times are a learning experience to find your style. don't forget pics!

I'm not much to look at, but I've always been proud that I can do ANYTHING I put my mind to (excluding bread baking and sewing, both of which I'm fixing to try). I do the bush hogging, firewood cutting, lawn mowing, coop building, gardening, animal tending, doctoring, take care of my husbands old family (4 of them) house cleaning, LOVE to cook/bake, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to hunt and fish, have flower beds, fruit trees, and have a 3 year old at home. I'm thinking about getting into beekeeping soon also. So now you see why bread has been pushed to the back burner?!
