no one responded (i get sad???)SO am out cleaning chicken poop off carport concrete and a truck pulls up(thought egg buyer) and a woman from nearby has 12 chickens she no longer wants----do I want them? Fortunately 12 hens, she claims, and my son and I will go pick up this evening(appx.3 miles away-country roads. She thinks Red Rock and I see no such thing on here so maybe RIR. will put them in their own area for week or so and I don't know age(she says they were dumped on her??? will ask her more tonight) so maybe lots of freezer meat(except for 1 she calls Sally-I agreed we could band her so i can identify her and keep her around) shoot me now.
