last time I got a mistaken identity phone call it went like this:

Me: hello?
Her: Hi dear, how are you?
Me: fine..
Her (interrupting): I was just wondering what you were doing?
Me: answering the phone...
Her: are you going shopping today?
Me: um... who is this?
Her: (angry and indignant): Don't you recognize your OWN MOTHER'S voice?
Me: ... apparently not any better than you recognize your daughter's...
Her: <shocked and indignat gasp> ... <long silence> ... <click>

chalk one up for irony...

I will say it made me feel a little bad for her daughter... so much drama! also made me wonder if there was alcohol involved...
