Oh my stars! My husband hired two guys to build me a new chicken coop to my design and specifications. I hardly know how to act. They are out there building it as I type this. I have been waiting for years for a new coop and thought I would be lucky to get whatever my husband decided to build for me. Well, several weeks ago he decided to have a metal carport installed for a covered run and now he has hired two carpenters to build my coop!!!!
I will start a thread with pictures later today. Once the shock wears off. My husband is still working on the run installing hardware cloth and welded wire, but he will soon be done with that part so hopefully it won't be too long until the girls can move in. The carpenter guys even improved on one of my ideas already to make things easier for me, as I have some limitations. They are actually building it just like the pictures I showed them. It is so great to see something I have been dreaming of for so long coming to life!
I think I just might faint from the excitment!
