I am HOT

I have a friend, she's 51, she's had a hysder-whatever, anyhow, she will get those hot flashes....You can just see her turn red in the chest, neck and face! It just washes over her!

I don't have those yet (I'm 47), but I think I have night sweats sometimes......A real treat to wake up soooooo darned sweaty that you go change your pjs!

Yep, you're going at it with humor! It helps, I think!

If you doubted the validity of spontaneous combustion before your opinon will certainly change. There were days I was sure I was poised to burst into flames. My poor DH, who radiates heat on his own could feel it start and would move away! I think it was just in case I did ignite!

I am in SoCal in the desert. I am contemplating a move to Siberia. Either that or I am gonna move in to our swimming pool.

A cold shower works too.

I would stand outside in the snow in slippers and a t-shirt and it was below zero. I got a few looks from the family.
i was pre menopause for 4 years before my surgury, but after that a majority of the symptoms went away. Tried the HRT and that just made it worse. Tried the herbal too and it made me worse too.
finally just let nature take it's course and I only get a hot flash when I get super stressed out.
