I am so sorry to hear of your job loss. My DH lost his job on july 31st. Uggghhh. We live in Arizona and it is next to the lowest in the country for paying unemployment. Maximum benefits here are 240 a week. There is the 25 a week from Obama's stimulus so my DH is getting 265 a week. Thank goodness our home is paid for. Still it is not enough to pay the bills. Both our cell phones have been turned off. Now the satellite tv is off. Oh boy we get 5 stations now with outside antenna. House phone is going next. The food banks are empty in our town. 2 have completely closed down. No one can get food stamps because the 25 a week from Obama's stimulus pay, throws you just over the threshold by 36 dollars a month. Gee thanks Obama. I have not been able to buy groceries since August 26th. Its getting slim pickings for sure. When Dear Lord, will it get just a bit easier???? By the grace of God we will get through this. Eating lots of eggs, and praying I will NOT be forced to start slaughtering my flock.

So many people across America is in the same boat. Hold your head up, find your faith, and you will survive. I have faith that God will continue to feed us daily.
