@Kiki which company was it out of texas that uses Fertrell in their feed? They pellet the meals and fertrell and add it to the cracked grain? I thought it was something like H & K but can't find it on the web.
I can't remember...I'll look.
 
How do you ferment??
Its a very simple process. All I do is run my variety of whole grains through a hand mill to lightly crack the kernel and place them in a plastic bowl and cover the kernels with hot tap water to help get the natural wild yeasts activated. Then cover with a loose fitting lid and mix from time to time and you will see a bunch of bubbles and start to notice the sour smell. Then after a day or two, I will drain and lightly press most the liquid out of the cracked kernels and feed. I also us well water that isn't softened or has any chorine added to it, like city water.
