yes. IMHO Fertrell is the best vitamin pack out there.I use the Fertrell Poultry Nutri-Balancer in with our cracked grains that I feed. I ferment the grains first and mix it in right before I feed it. Is this the same vitamins and mineral additive stuff you are referring to?
How do you ferment??I use the Fertrell Poultry Nutri-Balancer in with our cracked grains that I feed. I ferment the grains first and mix it in right before I feed it. Is this the same vitamins and mineral additive stuff you are referring to?
Its a very simple process. All I do is run my variety of whole grains through a hand mill to lightly crack the kernel and place them in a plastic bowl and cover the kernels with hot tap water to help get the natural wild yeasts activated. Then cover with a loose fitting lid and mix from time to time and you will see a bunch of bubbles and start to notice the sour smell. Then after a day or two, I will drain and lightly press most the liquid out of the cracked kernels and feed. I also us well water that isn't softened or has any chorine added to it, like city water. How do you ferment??
