Heck, I don't believe or agree with many of the things I see posted here at BYC. To be honest, I see much posted here that in my opinion shouldn't be here. But I'm not going to attack anyone for their differences, opinions, or beliefs that aren't the same as mine. I want stand for anyone disrespecting me with a mean PM either! And you shouldn't either. Call the mod squad on them.....hehehe.

WoW, I really can't remember seeing a post you've written where you've crossed the line from expressing yourself like an adult into attacking or demeaning others.

If someone is attacking you via PMs, I hope you will report it to a moderator. I understand the motive behind this thread, but I doubt anything will happen to change the situation unless the person behind the attack on you is identified to the mods. The person who attacked you will probably just send their hatred toward someone else on BYC in the future.

While we are all entitled to our own opinions, the internet and its anonymity sometimes emboldens people to be ruder or take greater risks than they otherwise would in public.

I love BYC because, for the most part, everyone here contributes to a welcoming, helpful, community atmosphere. This is not true on some other forums. It's up to us, the members, to keep things this way -- and to moderate ourselves. Sometimes it's better to think twice before posting or sending a hurtful/hateful PM. BYC will continue to attract new members and to be a supportive community if we do our part to keep it that way.

I have never seen you post anything that could be considered rude or attacking in any way. I think I state my position more strongly than you do at times.

I have received several PMs about my position on shooting a chicken killing dog or my grandfather's method of stopping a chicken killing dog from doing it again....ya know what? I use the delete button because frankly...it is my opinion, I am entitled to it and sending me a snotty PM is not going to change my opinion or view.

Be true to yourself first ... just be you because we love ya just that way.

Ya know what, though? If you felt bullied, you are very likely not the first person that has been bullied by this person. Maybe just the first person who is brave enough to bring it up.

I think you should have a chat with Nifty & just make him aware of the situation. He doesn't have to do anything about it this time, but if it's an ongoing problem, he will have a heads-up. If I was a mod, I would want to know what is going on even if nothing needs to be done about it.​

WriterofWords, I am reminded of the saying "like water off a duck's back", which is what it needs to become. You have lots of support, meaning you are most likely correct in your position. I have no clue who you are personally, but I do have some experience with evil. (DON'T GO THERE, LOL!) Whomever called you evil is probably reading all this and gritting their teeth to splinters.

Though I have yet to find/hear the Stories of Nugget and the fainting chickens. I look forward to the day!

I find the people who throw mean words about, anonymously, are frequently small-minded.
