I've winter proofed the coop and dug out my winter clothes but I'm still holding out hope that I'll get to enjoy Fall before Winter sets in!

Well, I installed out heat lamp, turned it on. works good. lol. just put the bulb in, didnt leave on. we start turning it on about 35-40 degrees.
hubby hasnt turned down our heat in the house, guess i am going to stay in the coop. ha.
we have a space heater in the main living area of our house. still the other rooms are a bit cold. 61 degrees is freezing for me. lol.
i think i am ready for winter, just hope we dont have as much snow as last winter.

THis morning they said on the radio that on Monday it was 80 degrees in Denver, and today this morning it was snowing. They were expecting a foot! And then by Friday it's going back up to 70. Maryland is supposed to get snow showers on Saturday. I'm not ready either! Would like to have a couple more weeks of weather like we've had this week...crisp and cool around 65 with really blue skies. It rained this afternoon.

I guess I should be glad it wasn't a couple inches of snow!

Well, Sourland got out his long underwear. Temperatures are supposed to plummet tomorrow night. My hands and feet hurt. Sourland hates winter.
