I am so mad about the eggs I just bought!!!!!!@!

I think out of respect, any nice person would Resend replacement eggs and learn how to properly package them..

Im so sorry this happened to you **hugs** - If I had Blue Frizzle Eggs I would give you some!!

I definitely agree-12+ means 13 or more. If you don't want to send more than 12, then don't advertise 12+, advertise 12. And 12+ of both breeds means 12+ of both breeds-period. Not 16 and 6--duh............

On the packaging, that's a very sore subject. Different people pack different ways, but the least he/she could do is offer to send more as a courtesy.

Oh yes i know thats really sad and heartbreaking when that happens and you dont get what you pay for as advertised (no matter what the price is ).
I had a problem such as this , ordered 2 dozen (it was stated you get 15 eggs per doz) , payed and receive only 17 eggs and 5 of those were badly broken .

So yea i know how you feel.

post a disupte with paypal stating you did not get what you paid for. they will be forced to do something. I just left them a message even though they don't have anything for sale.

"I have been warned about how you poorly pack eggs and then act like its not your fault. Stay away from this seller!"

Honestly...it's not her fault that the eggs were broken and it's not her place to send extra "security" eggs.

Now...as to advertising 12+ eggs for each breed...I would have assumed that 12 eggs would be Cochin and 12 eggs would have been Araucana. THAT would result in negative feedback if I had bought them.

I'll have to disagree with ya here

Unless that box was destroyed, and arrived intact, then I DO believe the seller is responsible for the breakage as they didn't pack properly. I have had broken eggs arrive, mostly because part of the box was squished or the box was punctured. I didn't hold those sellers responsible, the PO's mishandling caused the damage. I also had a box arrive completely intact and 3/4 were broken. Luckily it was a wonderful person and only charged me for the intact dry eggs I got.
Also they said 12+, the + is usually the extras that people send to make up for mishandling etc
I would file a claim and don't toss anything out yet. I haven't returned anything but don't you need to return it to get your refund? I would find out and get my $$ back....

I agree wholeheartedly with KLF73. That is ridiculous. I have shipped my Ameraucana eggs all over this country and rarely to I have a broken egg and never more than one and that was when a box was pretty much crushed on one side. I always send extra eggs and I have even made folks a deal on a second bunch of eggs when they didn't get a decent hatch rate or development rate. Now I hope I ain't getting myself in trouble by saying that as I don't want a bunch of folks ordering eggs from me and then telling me they all had ruptured egg cells but I doubt that's gonna happen because I think most folks abide by The Golden Rule.

Most certainly the Ebay'er should have tried to make it right. I would definitely leave a Negative Feedback if they aren't willing to work something out and I'd make a PayPal complaint if that was used.

Having said all that, let this be a lesson to all of us and get the word out to others. Caveat Emptor - and do lots of homework before spending your hard earned dollars.

God Bless,

So sorry, that is just wrong. I just bought several batches of eggs from eBay and NOT ONE was broken. They were all very well packaged, and the ones from BayHorseBonnie came all the way from CA. She sent me many extras, as did most of the others. The only mishap was here at home with one egg. I feel blessed, but did spend a lot of time researching feedback on eggs. I am glad you are sharing, as we should all be aware. I would demand a refund, the ones not broken will likely be "scrambled" if the trip was that rough and the packaging that bad. Shame on you FancyFeathers!

BUT..............+ (plus) means at least one more than 12. IMHO

Just want to let everyone know thats not me! LOL anyways...I never puchase eggs off ebay anymore I ordered from someone for silkie eggs, and they said they quit laying so I said okay, and then 2 months later I finaly get my eggs and when they hatch! there not even silkies! there some OEG mixes, so theres a waste of 20$. I only puchase my eggs here where I know 98% of the people here arent playing games with you. And besides you should have known something was up when you paid 20$ shipping! thats outrageous, I can fit that many eggs in a box and only pay 11$ shipping!
