Oh, I DO believe this ( and I use this term lightly) persons carma HAS come back. Last summer, his 30 or so turkeys and 20 or so guineas were turned loos, by him...so he "didnt have to feed them so much" ( his words) I can't count the times I had to run his poultry out of my coops. They were coming in and cleaning out my feeders. ( thats solved this summer, all runs are going to be covered) However....most people around here know this "person" and very few like him. Anyways....Several times, his turkeys and guineas would be in the road when someone came through, and they would plow right through them, killing between 6 and 10 at a time. Most of the time, in front of MY house. He is now down to about 6 turkeys, and a few guineas. Some people just dont deserve animals!! He is also the one who owns the 4 donkeys that I found in my yard...and I took a bucket of corn, and had them follow me back to thier paddock, where I locked them back in, safe and sound. ( THAT wont happen again, next time they visit, they get rehomed) Just a little more chlorine needed in THAT gene pool.

Actually people do much more harm to wildlife than dogs and cats. Cruelty to animals for what ever dumb reason is not justified. I don't like rabbits, starlings, black birds, european housesparrows but I would never be mean to one. Mind you the 3 birds are all introduced species and have decimated many of our native birds, but to be mean to them. Naw. JMHO

I do admit that I have shot the neighbor's cat

. BUT it was after a whole summer of chasing him away from trying to get my chickens (young chickens, then when they got too big he would try to pull the silkies through their pen) and AFTER speaking to the owner (who said their cat would NEVER do that

). I went and got a plastic pellet gun and shot dh with it before we shot the cat(in the rear leg), he hasn't been back, now he just goes to my mother's and hunts at her feeders

. I will add, if I was trying to kill it, it would have been done and not left to suffer.

please keep us updated

Yes and one way they do is by letting dogs and cats run free.

Dogs kill thousand of people animals every year. It my legal right to kill any dog killing my animals. So for those who think its ok for their to run loose remember, it you want to keep it. Keep it on your places. Most States you have the right to protect your livestock.

Cruelty to animals can be letting your dog or cat kill others, many people on this forum have seen their animal half ripped apart by a dog. So how about the cruelty to our animals. Killing a stray is not cruelty if protecting others.

i understand all that...but, why not just catch it? or call animal control?...why kill/torture it?

i've had many strays in my yard...they all took a ride...i also got tired of them in my garbage....harassing the wild birds..but..i didnt have to KILL the cats...
