Have him check inside the beak for lesions.
It is a viral infection that has to run it's course. It is transmitted via mosquitoes and it will go through the flock.
You can have him put dots of iodine on each lesion to help them dry out. Don't remove them or pick at them.
Support the flock with Poultry Nutri-Drench to help get them through it.
