Yeah, She's super-nice.

The 50/50 odds only work in the macro. Statistically speaking, a few of us "little guys" are bound to get the short stick..right Mahroni?

I'm not even supposed to have chickens in my neighborhood... let alone 34 roosters!! I could tell on a couple of mine at 3 weeks as well. The SLW (which I did not post) and the Leghorn that has already found a home. I'm thinking that processing guy in Tucson is looking pretty good for us right about now!! Maybe we can get a group rate!

Ive rehomed alot of roos, since I started almost a year ago. Im finally down to one (which Im keeping). Ive had like 20 chickens and Im down to 8 (7 hens 1 roo)

So yes, its frustrating but in the end you will end up with what you need. I found its rather fun getting new chickens

I love that the AZ folks all jumped over to this thread with you. If it comes down to calling the processing guy and having a gathering, I'd be interested in seeing the set-up.

I'll pipe in from the north...

SO, What is for dinner? You got chicken gumbo, lemon chicken, chicken soup......

Maybe your high rate of roos down there has something to do with the cold you all DON'T get??

You got us... we are definitly short on cold. Or rather, we think it is cold because the high dropped below 70!

I like your ideas though...I need to look up how to make gumbo!

What are the odds? ? ?
All BOYS.

I would cry, cry, cry . . .

Clarily, this a BIG case of miscommunication.

Maybe you said
" I want Pullets, they RULE"

and she thought you said
"I will cull it if its not a Roo!"
