I know it's pry way to early to tell. But I have a 6-7 week old Silkie. Any idea or suggestion on what they think it is? Roo or hen?? Also is it gray or considered blue? Just looking for some tips in what to look for. Thanks in advance!

Cockerel

Hi! This is Nutmeg. Pullet or cockerel?

How old is it?

As always, thanks for your help!! can we try this frizzle one more time? Roo?

Cockerel

Here are my three RIRs, all about 4 1/2 months. I'm hoping all three are pullets! Two have large-ish combs and make a lot of noise (but no crowing). I don't know how to tell pullets from cockerels.

The first picture is a cockerel

Is this a rooster? This is an eight week old Araucana cross.

One of my white leghorns has a very red crown and Im worried it moght be a roo. My other two dont habe nearly as red or large crowns. Theyre about three months old and its my first time with chickens honestly, so Im trying to learn as much as possible

How old is it? Are both those pictures the same chicken?

I posted my flock of barnyard mix chicks a couple of weeks ago and the consensus was to post back in a few weeks. Here they are again. What do you think?

2, 3, 4, and 5 are the only obvious cockerels right now.

Chip, easter egger/backyard mutt. 6 weeks old this Friday (june 9th). Starting a V comb.

I'm unsure about this one, right now I'm leaning toward cockerel though.

PJ is supposedly a pure splash silkie, hoping show quality. 6weeks old (june 9) no comb, VERY attatched to mama, super sweet.

It looks like a pullet right now.

Freddy is an easter egger/backyard mutt, 6 weeks old (june 9). Very independent comb & wattles are red.

Cockerel

Any idea pullet or roo on this 8 week old egger?

I'm thinking pullet, but could you post again in a couple weeks?

Can you please help me sex this chicken. She (he?) is one of our first two purchased as white leghorns from tractor supply (although she has so much more brown on her than I expected)
We got her(?) sexed as a female. I believe she is about 12 weeks old.

Red sex link cockerel

Sorry it's taken a while! Now 7 weeks old.
