I'd say it's too soon to know for sure. But I see the feather patterns sort of hinting a cockerel, not so much based on the wattles. I have a SLW that developed small wattles at age of 6 weeks of age, and she's a pullet. SLW is a tricky breed to sex.
I know SLW . To me they are extremely easy to sex!:)
I could sex mine on day one!
the males were more yellow than the females.

Can you tell by this pic at all? These light sussex are 14 weeks.

Hi. I am new to raising chickens and was having trouble determining the sex of one of my birds. I have been assuming that "he" is a rooster based on behavior but wanted expert input. Almost 8 weeks old. Thank you for any guidance.
