Hi, I have just brought home my first two last week. They were sold to me as pullets but I have doubts about the smallest one. Can you please give me your opinion? It was sold to me as an ameraucana but I'm pretty sure it's a mix of RIR and EE from the chickens I saw at the sellers'.

I have three Black Australorps that are all the same age. This one is far more mature than the other two. Just wanted to be sure it's a "she". I thought my first egg came from this one, but it turns out that it was from one of my Rhode Island Whites.

This is one we've been calling "Juanita". If Juanita is actually a Juan, we'd be making a choice about Juan's future real soon. But, if this is really a Juanita, she'll stick around. He/she is definitely very vocal, but I'm not sure I'd call the vocalizations a crow. I know that could be due to age. What are some things I could look for over the next few days that might help us decide Juan(ita)'s fate?
