First is a Rhode Island Red, 2 and 6 are either Australorps or Jersey giants, 3-5-7 and 8 are White leghorns, 4 I don't know

All 3 are cockerels. See that really dark shade of red that all three of them have through the shoulder/wing area? That's a trait specific to males.

We have four 8-week old chickens (2 black, 1 blue, 1 red/brown) and we are wondering about genders. The blue one started trying to crow this week when let out in the morning. It is tough to get pictures, hope these are ok!
