Definitely a cockerel. All chicks have spur buds. Spurs don't begin to really develop till about 6 months of age.

Could you sex my Welsummer cross Araucana (olive egger/Easter egger maybe) the bird I'm most concerned about it the one that is patchy dark red. They hatched 29/3. Last two images are of comb and tail feathers that are causing me concern! Thanks!
