Dear Helpful Experts -
I posted pictures of my chicks a few weeks ago - you replied that my frizzle cochin might be a cockerel - and at 8 weeks old, he started crowing.
So now I'm back to ask about our other bantam chick (out of 6 chicks, our first ever attempt at chicken-keeping). Here's Rose, our white-crested blue Polish - 9 weeks old. With my limited knowledge, I think she's acting like a rooster.
What do you think?

"Cordelia", my Gold Laced Wyandotte, and easily my prettiest bird, looks to be a cockerel to my untrained eye. Our birds are 8 weeks old today, but all different breeds so I have no direct comparison and I'm brand new at this. The color on the comb, wattle development and pointier feathers all concern me. Can you experts confirm my fears?
View attachment 1076012 I'd love help determining the sex of our 13 wk old light brahma. I'm thinking it's a cockrel based on its growth rate and raspy crow but I'd love to know what you think.
This is our 5 week old pekin, I think it is a boy but have zero experience! What do you think it is?

These are 7 weeks old I hope you will be able to sex them...

These are my four polish chicks, they are 5 weeks old (2 are frizzle) can you sex them please
The orpington is a pullet, I'm unsure about the wyandottes, the Easter egger is a cockerel, and the BCM is a cockerel.I know this is a big request to make, but I have a black copper maran, 2 silver laced Wyandottes (whom I have numbered 1 and 2), a buff Orpington, and a easter egger (not ameracauna, which the people we got it from claimed it to be) and I would like to get some thoughts on their gender. All 2 months old apart from the 3 month old maran.View attachment 1076108 View attachment 1076109 View attachment 1076110 View attachment 1076111 View attachment 1076112 View attachment 1076113 View attachment 1076114 View attachment 1076116 View attachment 1076117 View attachment 1076118 View attachment 1076119 View attachment 1076120 View attachment 1076121 thank you!
I think that's a cockerel, but you should post again in a couple weeks so I can be sure.
I'm unsure about this one, could you post again in a couple weeks?
