Pullets.View attachment 1035092 View attachment 1035093 View attachment 1035094 View attachment 1035095 These are red sex link but someone told me if they are not first generation then you can't tell gender by color. Are they all pullets or am I going to have some roosters? The person I bought them from got them from a hatchery. They are approximately 3 months old.
Sorry for not getting back to you!!!Of course! And thank you so much, super excited to hear Mc Henner is truly a pullet

Could you take a closeup picture of the comb? What do you think? I think it may be a Cornish around 2-3 months old
Could you take a closer picture of the saddle feathers? This is maybe 2+ months. I think it may be a black sex linkView attachment 1412301
Looking like pullets so farMine might be a little young but would love to know if my orpington and cochin are pullets!

I don't see any cockerels, yetAll three birds are a little over five weeks old. Two Black Copper Marans and an EE/PB Japanese buff bantam cross. Any guesses as to sex?View attachment 1426742
Cockerel. Also, I'm pretty sure your black sex links are actually asia blacks, which are not auto-sexing.I have 6 BSL chickens. 1 of them looks much different than the others.. Would you say this is a Pullet or Cockerel? View attachment 1437587 View attachment 1437588
Most likely a cockerel. Can you get a closeup picture of its saddle feathers?View attachment 1465029 View attachment 1465035 View attachment 1465027 This is an 11 week old EE that I’m worried and pretty sure is a rooster. Thoughts?
Looks like a pullet so farView attachment 1465561 This is a 10 week old blue EE mix. I am not sure of specific background or what it may be mixed with. It confused me because at 5-6 weeks, I was sure it was a roo. It developed a reddish comb and was more upright than the simile aged chicks of different backgrounds. Now, it’s comb is more yellowish-pink and the only thing that still says roo to me is that curve in the tail. I thought at 10 weeks I would start to see saddle feathers and darkening on the shoulders.

The two with larger, redder combs are most likely cockerels.View attachment 1465945 How about these girls/guys? Easter Eggers about 10 weeks old+/-
Could you get pictures of their saddle feathers?Care to give these two a whirl? 11 week Easter Eggers . . .
The two red ones are most likely cockerels.
