What do you think? Barred rock, almost
3 weeks. Comb is about 2x as large as it’s hatchlings.View attachment 2150793View attachment 2150794
Most likely a cockerel
I have got this lively little bird, I think it’s about 3.4-4 weeks. I really hope she is a girl and don’t want to wait till she gets older to find out. Can you help me out? I can take more pictures if I need too! Thanks for the help.
Too young
One of the black ones is probably a cockerel, the black and silver one is a cockerel, and the other black one is looking like a pullet
10 week old dominiques. Hoping the lighter one is a little roo?

Lighter one is a cockerel
@sassysarah
I got three Snowy EE girls from My Pet Chicken nearly 6 weeks ago. Supposed to be pullets- we have a suspected boy. I’m going to post all three for comparison.
comb type: Peacomb
Breed: Snowy EE

These are the chicks at 5 weeks

Chick 1 - Bitty

This is Fluffy at almost 6 weeks
(The comb started getting a lot redder right after I took the pics above, so I thought I should post this too)

Fluffy’s much bigger than the other two, with larger feet, a LOT more comb growth, and comb redness. The other two have one row of their pea comb, Fluffy has three rows (I believe that is another sign of cockerel?).

So- Cockerel or Pullet? 🙂
Nothing says cockerel to me yet, but they’re much too young to be sure

Ok, ..I need help! I bought these two, 7 week old light Brahma the other day.
what do you think ?

They are all 5 weeks old. A barred rock, golden laced Wyandotte, and I’m not sure the white ones breed. Thank you for your help!

All are looking like pullets so far except the wyandotte
Hello everyone. These three are easter egger mixed. 5.5 weeks old. Wing sexing early on we thought the all black white chest "Josephine" and "brownie" were both pullets. "Oreo" with the white face we have always assumed a rooster. Any advice is appreciated and I never would've imagined how difficult it is to get good pictures of juvenile chickens until today, no one stood still.View attachment 2152639View attachment 2152640View attachment 2152644View attachment 2152646View attachment 2152649View attachment 2152652View attachment 2152655View attachment 2152658View attachment 2152660View attachment 2152663
Nothing says cockerel to me, yet
Do these little ones look like cockerels or pullets
The first one is the hardest to tell I have been waiting for some sure signs but we have never owned a golden laced polish before
The second is an EE
Third is an Ancona
And can anyone give me some ideas to look for with silkies?
Ours is still really small so we cant decide if it's a boy or girl
Looking like pullets so far, except for the EE, which is looking like a cockerel

lol, can you sex my 2-month-old silkie?
I’m not experienced with silkies, but it’s looking like a pullet
what breed??
Too young
Easter Eggers 5 weeks old.
First is probably a pullet, need individual pictures for the rest
Here are my 9 weeks old EEs (except for #6 the RIR). Would love another opinion on gender, I'm thinking I won't be getting many eggs from this crew 😉
Thanks in advance
6 and 7 are definitely cockerels, 5 and 9 are probably cockerels, the rest are too young to be sure

Here are my guesses....don’t bet money on ‘em though....

The RIR No. 6 is almost certainly a cockerel.

Among the EEs it’s a bit more tricky, but I think No. 4 and 8 are pullets while 1, 2, 5, and 7 are likely cockerels. Numbers 3 and 9 are too young to tell.
