Yes, I’ve heard of them, but I don’t know much about them. They’re one of the many hybrids bred by hatcheries. They’re basically like sapphire gems, sometimes “production blue” even refers to sapphire gems. I believe they lay brown eggs.

ive been researching the past few days and I’m thinking they are blue Jersey giants. What do you think? Bottoms of feet are yellow

I’ve got another one I’m curious about. Ameraucana between 5-7 weeks maybe, unsure. Was sexed as pullet but is smaller than all of our other Ameraucana pullets, and has a very prominent comb. Any help would be great.

That's a cockerel and that's not an easter egger. EEs dont have wattles.

First one is around 9 weeks old and their comb started getting dark 😬
The first one is looking like a cockerel, rest appear to be pullets so far
Hi. Could you help me identify these two please?
They are 5-6 weeks old.
Blue buff brahma and Chipmunk Swedish Flower
Thank you kindly
The brahma is probably a cockerel, Swedish flower is probably a pullet. Also, the brahma isn’t blue.

Could be. The problem is that blue jersey giants bred by hatcheries are often the same size as any other dual purpose hen. So it will be hard to tell the difference between them and a different breed like a production blue.

Any idea if these two Easter Eggers are pullets or cockerels? They are about 2 months old. Thanks!
