Happy Saturday, Friends! I have 3 birds that I would love your opinion on. They are between 5-6 weeks old. They are all "Barnyard Mixes" but it appears my white one is a combo of my brahma rooster and brahma hen (what are the chances?!), the other two came from a neighbor and she thought the darker one was a Barred rock and the grey one is a mystery! Would love your opinion on gender and breeds!

What are the possible parents for the chick you hatched? Did your neighbor say whether the other chicks are mixes or not?
As for gender, the barred one is a cockerel and the white one is probably a cockerel too.

Two turkens, I got them between 6 and 7 weeks ago, I think. They were my only straight run from the store I went to

The chick I hatched has a light Brahma for the rooster and could be mixed with a silver laced Wyandotte, buff Orpington, Americana, light Brahma or a black copper maran.
The neighbors chicks are mixed as well. She said they could be barred rock, Wyandotte, maran or Orpington.

Can you sex my 7-week buff lace polish -- Frompkin? He has been acting kind of rooish, in the sense of looking after the other chicks, and panicking when they don't obey him to return to the coop.
