Gee, Shell, what a bummer! I'm sorry. I have a terrible fear of dropping eggs during candling or putting them in the bator.

I am always so afraid I'm going to drop one while candling. I did drop one while unwrapping it. That really ticked me off. But, we're human..don't keep kicking yourself. Move on..

Yeah...I've had my share. Dropped a thermometer on one in the bator. Drop one egg on top of another one while candling, had my DH walk up behind me while I was candling in the dark and said something to me...I dropped the egg and the flashlight and just about pi**ed my pants. I do it sitting down in a chair in front of the bator now...

Oh also, I dropped my box of Buff Orpington eggs that i had been collecting from my girls to put in the bator a few weeks ago. I had them setting on a stool in the bathroom where the bator is, they got moved to the back of the toilet somehow (nobody touched them

) and when I ran in there to use the bathroom I knocked the entire box into the floor. I lost all but 2 and those developed and died from bacteria in the air sac when they pipped it.
