I cannot stand Craigslist sometimes... (read post #33)

I quit posting animals (goats at the time) for a year or so because they always got flagged even though all was done right.
Now it seems when people are out of work they to to CL for something to do. I just had someone get irritable because I didn't reply immediately to her email about my free plants. *sigh*

I wish I could do that-people would think If I stood on the corner in town peddling chicks and eggs that I was on crack...AGAIN... Just teasing..but they would not know what to make of me..

If you look in the forum section of craigs list, you will notice that there is a section devoted to "they who shall not be named".
They have a special rotating system, to make sure farm and garden is covered at all times by a certain number of people, allowing posts to be flagged and removed very fast.

Here in Alaska, we are very thankful that an individual said enough, and started www.alaskaslist.com.
Its private and moderated, and no one can mess with it like CL.
And, its stays clean and family friendly without all the back talk that can occur in the listings.

oh Craigs list is such a pain sometimes. In ct a post lasts for 30 days but where I am it is 1 week so I have to keep re posting the same stuff. Then all these responses and no one shows. Or complaints about my price for a juvenile ready for outside yet no one wants to do the work to raise them to that age, but my time, money and feed is worthless to them apparently. But every once and a while a great customer comes my way via craigs list so I guess it is worth the hassle.

I mean, how can "IF YOU WOULD RATHER I EAT THEM, THEN BY ALL MEANS KEEP FLAGGING." not make it to best of Craigslist!??!

We are not allowed to talk about THOSE PEOPLE on BYC. But they are animal lovers too.
