Thanks! I think it'll look good with the natural and white colored crib I bought. If I had gotten a darker crib, I would want this set...

which I like even better. The chickens are ADORABLE, and the price is right!

well, I guess I should sign up here too. Despite being told I'm infertile and being pregnant could kill me.... I'm 14 weeks.

I've had complications already, there's a big pool of blood in my uterus next to the baby, and I had a LOT of bleeding at 9 weeks. I'm told it was probably a twin who I've miscarried

too scared to start buying or making anything for the baby yet, because it's going to take a miracle to keep this child inside me long enough for him/her to survive anyway

waiting for another obstetrician appointment, while being on strict bedrest and very bored with it.

At what point did you start buying baby things?

for both you and the baby during this pregnancy!

I'm 27 weeks today and I've just recently started buying things for him.

thanks

I've told my mother to NOT start making anything yet, but she's not listening. So I gave in and told her to knit in black and red... her disgust at that should hold her off for a couple of weeks

can't see her complying though it'd be a giggle if she did, and the baby's daddy would love it.
As long as there's no pink I'm not bothered. I can't stand the way little girls spend the first decade of life surrounded by everything pink - there's a whole spectrum of colours out there, we should use it! Don't know yet whether it's a boy or a girl anyway. I realise that if I manage to keep this child alive and it is female people will buy me pink, but where I get the choice I will be saying "no pink!" to try to limit it.

My mother does make the cutest little "duck feet" booties though, so I'm hoping for some of those. if & when I get some, I'll post a photo

i said that about pink too...but my little girl wont have anything else!

pink and purple are her favorite colors it seems.
so is anyone else having a hard time sleeping again? the baby seems to wake up about 3 in the morning, kicking his little feet until he wakes me up too.

I think once the child is old enough to express a preference, fair enough. But I won't be starting the pink off! Apparently they do usually grow out of it. Last year my niece was one of those "everything must be pink!" girls, and this year she's a mini-goth

I'm already having trouble sleeping - I can only get to sleep on my stomach usually and obviously I can't do that now.

Hope your little wriggler lets you sleep soon

Yep, same here! My DD (8) has recently switched from pink being her favorite color to purple. But, after having 3 boys, I don't mind the pink or the purple.

thats right, you have all boys except for 1 girl too so you know how it is..does your little girl stick to you like glue? mine is my little buddy..and my little dictator who never hesitates to tell me when her brothers are up to something.
