I cant get the nipples into the gromets!!!! GOT THEM IN gromets broke!

UGH!!!! I have the pvc pipe drilled and the black gromets are in, but i cant get the nipples in..... I so wanted to have this done before hubby got home, looks like i may have to wait sand ask for help....grrrrrr......

Update...well i got them in and the gromets broke....

Did you wet them first? FWIW, you can buy grommets separately.

What size drill bit did you use for the holes? My instructions say 11/32" (which is not included in most sets of drill bits).
