I can't have chickens in PA??

It snowed here yesterday. The chickens came out of their roofed run and looked very suspiciously at this strange white stuff all over the ground. I threw bread into their run and they suddenly forgot they couldn't survive here and ran in to eat......

I think I need to contact some rescue group to bring in snow gear for my chooks!!!

Just to make sure, I asked a co-worker whose father grows for Perdue if he has chickens year round and he confirmed that he does. Imagine that. Here in Delaware.

Yeah, you can't raise chickens in Delaware - that's why the University of Delaware's team is called the Delaware BLUE HENS!!!

Maybe they're blue ause they're cold???

Some of my chickens are called Delawares!!

Saddest of all - the woman in question lives in Delaware!!!
