I dont know whats wrong!

Hi! I went down to the chicken pen and I noticed that the beaks on all of my chickens were varying shades of black! It was fairly mild on the hens and the one roster, but the beaks on my month old babies were totally black! Every once in a while, the baby's would cough as though chokeing, and their throats or croup looked swollen. They were choking down adult food as fast a they could, even though they have baby food in there own feeder. What is wrong?

above is some info on beaks turning black. hope it helps. its from lack of blood supply to the beak. Google it and read about some causes. hope this helps good luck.
