I watched the whole thing too, this is mild and actually not all that bad compared to some. They all looked pretty bouncy and alive at the end. This is hatchery life and why most of us raise our own for meat and eggs.

C'mon this video has been posted on here I dont know how many times. Any one that buys chicken or eggs from a hatchery or grocery store surely contributes to this scene. The chicks are none the worse for wear after they go through the process, except for the roosters of course that meet an early demise if they are to be egg layers. If they are meatys they live long enough to get to our respective tables.


I truly don't like the vilification of our ag system. I choose for the most part to live and function outside of it for a lot of different reasons, but this video does not represent one of my reasons that is for sure.
