I wish I could bring rescue ducks home to my apartment. I was told that I couldn't even bring them in my apartment building for even five minutes. So, when I rescue them, I have to decide right away where to take them as I can't even take them home at all.

Mine wasn't even that bad until we got married - then, all of us (pets, kids, me) were his according to him - tax, title and license (I guess he was referring to the marriage license). Please, get far away from him asap. He sounds dangerous. Please, be careful. Take your ducks and run.
