I dyed my eggs tonight! - UPDATED!! They're Hatching!! *GRAPHIC PIC*

I'm glad to know that there's a good chance he will pull through. He's gonna be my favorite after all this i bet, lol.

I had another Bluie hatch yesterday...those little banties are just
PIP, ZIP and OUT of their shells! they're speedy little things, lol.

here they are, they have been stuck in the bator until they dry but the humidity went up a lot with the wet cloth for Heavy Head so i'm gonna take them out and put them in a small warm brooder to dry off as long as theyre walking good.

Heavy Head went back into the incubator, I'm just too worried about him..

You could always call him Brick.

I have a grim sense of humor, I have one named Wrongway. Pipped the wrong end of a pullet egg and got himself well and truly stuck.

No, no, no, Bobble! Great name! Sure, he will be your favorite. My favorite kid was always the one with measles, or the one, flunking math, or the one whose best friend turned on her.

Same thing. Sort of.

Ok, here is something funny. About names. At least I thought it was funny. When my youngest daughter was about three (she is in her 30's now) I had my first chickens. They were RIR's.

Anyway, my daughter could not tell them apart of course, so she named them all Frank. I have no idea where she thought of the name. No one in our family is named Frank.

But all our chickens were named Frank, and I would hear her heading outside in the morning, saying "Hi, Frank, hi, Frank, hi Frank..."
