I do believe that your rooster is a Rhode island red. There's one other breed that's extremely similar to the Rhode island reds, they're almost identical. Hope this helps

Yep. Same tub as that roo. I was worried about my daughters choosing the same chickens and fighting over trying to tell them apart. Guess that's not a problem now.

Looks like she's got slate legs. I can't think of anything that 100% fits for her.

What are the odds I take them back to the store and someone actually helps me out? I don't need to get rid of the little one but I don't really want to make special accommodations for one chicken if she can't live with the rest of the bigger chickens.
